The book of psalms are songs in prayer. I love reading the book of psalms, it is always a verse to run to, to render praises to God and worship. David was a man after God’s heart because he knew how to praise and worship God with his mouth, harp, lute which is a sweet melody in the ears of the Lord.
As I painted this, I was reminded that worship is not always loud or seen. Sometimes it is private, tender, and deeply personal. A moment where the soul aligns with God and speaks without words. This work captures that sacred pause, where faith becomes melody.
